SatsRecord

Accept bitcoin without the middleman.

No processors taking a cut. Donors pay a wallet you control, and every gift is automatically recorded, valued and acknowledged.

Bitcoin donations for charities and non-profits.

Built for organisations that receive bitcoin at an address they control. Whether you hold it as a treasury asset or sell it, the gift goes straight from the donor to your wallet.

Finance
A record per gift with value at block time, the price source, and the acknowledgement that was sent. CSV out.
Fundraising
A widget on your site. Donors get a fresh address and an acknowledgement, and stay on your list, not someone else's.
Trustees
No custody, no conversion, no money transmission. Open source, so the claims can be checked.

How it works.

From your website
to your donation records.

01

Add it to your website.

Connect your wallet, then paste a small snippet into your website. Customise it to suit your charity.

02

Receive bitcoin directly.

Donors get a fresh address belonging to your wallet. They send bitcoin from their own wallet, straight to yours.

The paperwork follows.

Each gift gets a record, a value at block time and an acknowledgement for donors who leave an email. Export your records whenever you need them.

Start with your wallet.

Setup starts with your wallet’s extended public key (XPUB). It lets SatsRecord generate receiving addresses; it cannot spend your bitcoin. Read the wallet FAQ.

Your records stay yours.

Download donations and donors as CSV. Corrections are amendments, so the original stays on record. If you leave, your records leave with you. More in the FAQ.
